Opportunities to become directly involved.

Become a Befriender

Our model for helping clients out of debt includes a befriender to visit the client with the Debt Coach.  They provide another friendly face and point of personal support for the client (but not debt advice).

All our Befrienders are volunteers. Volunteering for a cause you believe in can significantly improve your own emotional wellbeing as well as those you are helping.  If you are a good listener and have a heart to help people struggling with debt we would love to hear from you.

To find out more of what it involves, please contact our Debt Centre Manager, Gordon Clark.
